What do I need to sign up?

All you need to sign up is about a minute and a desire for great service of process!

Go to: https://secure.abclegal.com/abc/customer/signup and tell us a little bit about yourself

You'll get a confirmation email at the address you provide shortly.

Use the set password link to complete the account setup process.

It's that easy

Do I need to provide credit card information to create an account?

No credit card is required for signup! Although we will need it when you place your order.

You can create your account today without adding the card.

Once you log in to your account, you can add a credit card for future use in your Billing tab, so it's ready for when you do place your first order.

What if I need to place orders for service of process in a different state?

Actually, we specialize in that! ABC Legal is a nationwide service of process provider, with process servers in every state. We get your documents to a great local process server and make sure that local laws are followed.

The best part is that with every order, you get the same great experience. You'll get the easy document upload process as available, instant online updates, and the service you love for any state all in your secure account!

What can I do in my account

You can access all of your cases, see progress, place new orders, speak with customer support, pay for orders, and more in your account on the ABC Legal Customer Web Portal.

On the left-hand side, you'll see a navigation sidebar. 

Dashboard
View key information about your cases - open issues, service rates, and overall case progress.

Case Activity and Search
Search through all of your cases and action items. View each case’s event timeline and reach out for case support on Case Details pages.

Recent Cases
Quickly access your most recently viewed cases.

Place Order
Need something filed or served? Place new orders here.

Billing & Payments
Find invoices and update payment information.

Lookup Tools
Access Court Venue Search, Hearing Reports, and Compliance Resources, including the credentials for the process servers on your cases.

Admin (Admin Only)
Manage team members and email preferences.

Integrations
There are app integrations to common case management systems for law firms, including Clio and Litify!

Profile Section
Any user on your team can modify their information, notification settings, and landing page in their account using the icon and drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner.

How do I find a specific case?

There is a search bar on the top that allows you to quickly search for information about a specific case using Reference ID, case number, case title, or court.

In Case Activity & Search, you can search, sort, and filter your cases to find the ones you're looking for.

If you want to see the status of a specific set of cases, you can use “Multiple Case Reference IDs Search” to add multiple Case Reference IDs, or to import a case list to refine your search.

How do I place new orders?

Clicking on “Place Order” expands the left-hand menu. Select the type of order you’d like to place.

You’ll be directed to a place order form where you can provide information about the task you’d like ABC Legal to complete, including service of process, court filing, investigations, and more.

Can I filter the reports in my Dashboard?

The dashboard provides a high-level overview of your cases. You can filter it by date or by other select filters found in the drop-down next to the report.

Date Range Filter
Use the date range filter to apply a common date range or set your own start and end dates with a custom date range.

Other Filters
Click the filter button to the right of the date filters to segment information by Court State and/or Document Category.
