Substitute Service Rules 

When performing Substitute Service, the co-resident must be at least 16 years of age or older. Do not perform substitute service until you have verbal confirmation of the above criteria. If the documents are substitute served to a co-resident under the age of 18, please do not use the selection "15-17". It's necessary to list the exact age of the individual who accepted the documents and how their age was confirmed in your service notes. 

Mailed Copy of Documents

If the documents have been substitute served, you will need to mail a second copy of the documents to the same address.
