Who Can Serve Documents
Service in Wisconsin can be completed by any adult resident of Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, or Minnesota.
Document Endorsement
Any time an individual is served, the process server must include the following on the Summons before handing over the documents:
- Signature
- Time and date
- Address of current location
- Service method (such as personal or substitute service)
- The name of the individual handed the documents
